Managing emails at work while packing orders at night wasn’t easy. Aisha knew burnout was a real risk. She started blocking time for each role—committing to work hours with full focus and reserving evenings or weekends for her business.
She also learned to say no, outsource small tasks, and focus only on what moved her business forward.
Leveraging Her Day Job to Build Her Brand
Instead of hiding her business, Aisha used her professional network to grow. She learned leadership skills at work, applied project management tools to her business, and found customers in her circle.
“I stopped treating my job and my business as enemies,” she says. “They were both helping me grow in different ways.”

Today, Aisha’s brand ships to three countries. She’s still working 9–5, but now with a plan: to transition full-time into her business by 2026. What keeps her going? “It’s not just the profit,” she says, “It’s knowing I’m creating something meaningful.”
